I live here, so take this as the advice I give every visiting friend: London defeats completionists. The city is too big to collect; pick two neighborhoods and go deep.
My standard prescription: one day east — Columbia Road if it's Sunday, Broadway Market if it isn't, walk the canal to Victoria Park, pub lunch. One day center-west — a morning museum (free, all of them), St James's Park, evening theatre bought same-day at the TKTS booth for half price.
Third day: whatever the first two days made you curious about. That's the London day people remember.
Eat at the markets, not near the sights. Book nothing except theatre. And learn the pub protocol: order at the bar, carry your own drinks, tip nobody. You'll pass for a regular by Sunday.
Overview
The two-neighborhood method: east day, center-west day, curiosity day.

Anywhere on the Elizabeth line; the line matters more than the postcode.

Market stalls over restaurants-near-sights, Sunday roast at a proper pub.
Things to do
Free museums, same-day theatre, canal walks.
Best type of traveler
Everyone — that's London's trick.
